Information You Submit
A name, phone number or address entered in a search form is sent to the outside provider powering that tool; our servers do not retain a copy of the query. When you contact us, we receive the contents of your message and use them to answer.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our hosting keeps ordinary server logs: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. We look at this in aggregate to keep the site healthy and to see which pages readers use. Cookies or similar technologies may support basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
How Limited Data Is Used
Logs and messages support site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, replies and page improvements. We neither sell visitor lists nor create profiles of individual visitors.
Privacy on Linked Services
County and state portals, archives, library collections and outside search tools apply their own privacy policies to data entered there. Sponsored results are supplied by a third party and are governed by that provider's policy.
Who Might See Your Data
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
How We Protect Your Data
The site runs over an encrypted connection and logs are kept only as long as the purposes above need them. There are no accounts here, so no password or profile of yours exists on this site to be exposed.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data a website maintains. Florida's Digital Bill of Rights, Fla. Stat. §§ 501.701–501.722, applies to covered controllers and includes statutory exceptions; it does not turn this private reference into the custodian of government records. Because little is retained here, a request generally means checking the contact mailbox and server logs and deleting responsive material. Use the Contact page. Requests concerning Florida state, Orange County or Winter Garden public records must go to the office holding them.
Updates to This Policy
Any change to this policy will be posted on this page. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
